There are two things that repeat themselves at the moment, RGB and Tempered Glass. PC systems have become more than workhorses and people want to show their fancy systems. The newest Phanteks cases are great examples of this as they reintroduce the Eclipse P400 and P400S with tempered glass versions.
The new Eclipse P400 and P400S Tempered Glass Editions feature a full tempered glass side panel and also two brand new Special Edition colors as these versions will be available in Satin Black, White, and Anthracite Grey as well as the new special versions in Black/Red and Black/White.
The compact mid-towers seem to feature it all and should be easy to build your system in. The have a full metal exterior, RGB lighting system with color control, 1x RGB LED strip, removable dust filters, front all-in-one radiator mounting location, power supply shroud, and two 120mm fans. There’s also a 3-speed fan controller included in this budget-friendly case.
There is room for up to E-ATX motherboards with a width up to 272mm as well as default ATX, mATX, and mITX motherboards. The CPU cooler can be up to 170mm high while the graphics cards and other expansion cards can have a length up to 395mm without additional HDDs mounted and up to 280mm with them. Speaking of storage drives, there is room for up to six 3.5-inch drives and two 2.5-inch drives in this great looking chassis. However, only two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch brackets are included and you’ll need to purchase additional 3.5-inch mounts should you require them.
Availability is set for November 2016 and the recommended retail price is just €79.90 / £69.99 for the P400 and €89.90 / £76.99 for the P400S cases with Tempered Glass side panel. Both versions come with a 5-year warranty.
