Phanteks Launches NV9 Case, Another Seamless Front and Side Glass Panel

There’s a bit of a trend in the PC Case market at the moment, and that is creating a case that displays everything without sacrificing airflow. Today Phanteks have launched their latest take on this design in the form of the NV9, the largest in their line up of NV series cases.

The NV9 is a full tower case featuring a near seamless glass panel providing clear views of all of your focal components. It measures 615 x 280 x574mm (HxWxD) which is a bit larger than the previous NV7 at 586 x 253 x 532mm. It offers plenty of room for hardware and lots of cooling potential all with maximum style. It comes in either black or white and is made from 1.5mm high quality steel with a reinforced outer frame. The motherboard tray also features two LED strips to enhance your build. The front I/O is equipped with 1x USB 3.2 Gen C, 2x USB 3.0 Type-A, power button, microphone/headphone jack and 4x D-RGB buttons (Mode, Colour, Speed, Channel).

Cooling Capabilities

The NV9 is kitted with cooling support on the top bottom rear and side for both fans and radiators. Users can fit up to three 120 or 140mm fans in the top and bottom, two 120 or 140mm fans in the rear and up to four 120mm fans in the side or three 140mm fans. The top, bottom, and side are claimed to support up to 420mm radiators whilst the rear can support up to 280mm. Each of the airflow panels feature a fine mesh for dust filtration.

Hardware Support

Hardware support is plentiful with room for up to E-ATX motherboards with a maximum cooler height of 205mm. The case features 8 expansion slots with more than enough GPU clearance at 490mm. The storage door has been updated since previous models and now offers more configuration options including support for 2x 2.5″ SSDs and 3x .5″ HDDs or 4x 2.5″ SSDs and 2x 3.5″ HDDs.
