Philips 328P6A QHD HDR 32-Inch Monitor Review

A Closer Look

Without a doubt, this is a lovely looking monitor. Of course, clocking in at 32-inches it’s hard not to be drawn in by the sheer size of it. Obviously, 32-inches isn’t big in the TV world, but for a desktop monitor, it’s certainly on the larger side of things for most.

The bezel isn’t as small as some rival monitors, however, keep in mind that this uses a more advanced backlighting system than most for the HDR tech, and this likely eats up a bit more space. However, it’s very nicely finished and features a brushed metal trim.

Of course, all the usual stuff is stickered on, showing you that it has lots of lovely features. Of course, I would hope you buy the monitor already knowing these.

The monitor uses touch controls on the bottom of the monitor. I hate those, generally, but having used these, they’re surprisingly responsive and easy to use.

Around the back, you’ll find very little on show, just a clean looking design overall. Of course, it supports a 10×10 VESA mount, so wall mounting or custom stands are easy to install.

Connectivity is plentiful, and there are even a few extra USB ports, and RJ45 should you need them.

The power supply is built-in too and requires a standard PSU cable. There’s also a master power switch for when you need to power down completely.

The stand is very easy to mount. What I do like, is that the monitor can be put quite low to the desk.

Of course, if you have the neck of Giraffe, it also goes surprisingly high up too. You would think it would be very unstable this high, and it is a bit, but it still feels more planted than we expected.

The monitor can be rotated 360-degrees on the base, which is great if you have an open desk setup. Of course, turning it 180-degrees away from you isn’t much use, but it’s handy for showing something to others in the room.
