Philips Releases New Evnia 49″ SuperWide QD-OLED Monitor

Philips has today revealed its new Evnia 49M2C8900, a 49″ SuperWide monitor featuring a Quantum Dot OLED panel offering first class performance and visuals for work and play.

This new monitor is a 49″ curved SuperWide with a 32:9 aspect ratio, 1800R curve and 5120×1440 resolution providing excellent screen real estate for your workflow. This monitor boasts a Quantum Dot OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and offers true 10-bit colour depth and 450 nits peak brightness making it capable of displaying a crystal-clear and premium quality image. The display also offers DisplayHDR True Black 400 for tested premium HDR performance plus is uses Vesa ClearMR 13000 for smear free gaming

Additional Features

This display also comes with several additional features including a KVM switch enabling you to control two devices from one monitor, keyboard and mouse set plus both can be displayed at the same time on this monitor as if using two 16:9 displays. The display also features a USB hub with four USB Type A downstream ports and one USB-B Upstream port. There are also four 7.5W DTS speakers as well as Ambiglow lighting on the rear of the display.

Ergonomics

This stand that comes with this display is capable of 120mm of height adjustment as well as
-5/15 degree of tilt and -/+ 20 degree of swivel. Alternatively you can choose an alternative stand or mount with the included Vesa bracket.

The Philips Evnia 49M2C8900 will be available in mid-September with an MSRP of £1649.99.
