During the overclocking process, we prioritize the maximum achievable frequency and aim for a decent boost which most users can replicate themselves. Obviously this depends on the potential of each individual kit, but we don’t usually deviate too far from standard timings unless it’s specifically required. As you can see, this particular kit managed a pretty substantial overclock of 3042MHz and loosening the timings had a minimal effect. As a result, throughout our testing procedure, there was no need to change from the default XMP’s timings.
