PNY announces 2133MHz and 1866MHz additions to the XLR8 lineup

PNY Technologies has announced two new speeds to be included in their XLR8 (ac·cel·er·ate) PC Memory lineup: 2133MHz and 1866MHz. These kits are available in quad-channel 16GB (4x4GB) and dual-channel 8GB(2x4GB) kits.

The 2133MHz DDR3 CAS 10 desktop memory kit offers 9-12-11-27 timings and is the company’s fastest memory kits to date sporting the perfect combination of high-speed, low-latency, and racy aesthetics. They feature a custom red aluminium heat spreaders designed with fins for more efficient heat dissipation and optimum thermal management.

The 1866MHz DDR3 CAS 9 desktop memory kits come with 9-12-9-27 timings. Unlike the 2133MHz, this kit sports sleek, black aluminium heat spreaders that were designed especially for gamers and enthusiasts.

Additionally, PNY has also launched a 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 CAS 9 desktop memory kit in 1600MHz with 9-9-9-24 timings, also featuring the same black aluminium heat spreader.
