Noise
In a similar vein to other custom cooled Maxwell solutions, the graphics card features a 0dB fan mode. This creates a silent user-experience providing other components emit small noise levels. Under full load, the GPU’s dual fans only operate at low RPM values and maintains quiet running.
Power Consumption
The GTX 960 is extremely efficient with a TDP of 120 watts. As a result, the total system consumption is laughably small which almost defies belief.
Temperatures
Despite utilising a passive mode, the graphics card is remarkably cool in idle usage scenarios and never exceeded 40C. On another note, the core hit an average of 67 degrees while running the Heaven benchmark. This is another superb result even though it’s some way off the ASUS STRIX GTX 960.
