PNY GTX 950 2GB Graphics Card Update Review

A Closer Look

I don’t quite know if I like this or not. One the one hand that styling is simple and attractive, but the shroud itself is plastic and is unnecessarily large compared to the PCB components (see back image)

Turning the card over shows the size of the PCB, why is it around 1-inch longer than it needs to be? Surely the card could have been shortened slightly to appeal to a larger market or ITX users.

The heat sink is fairly small, but the cooling shroud overhangs the top of the car slightly making the card feel larger than it actually is.

Considering the low-end nature of this card, the ports are quite comprehensive; you have the choice of 2x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort.
