Pretec P240 USB 3.0 Multi Card Reader Review

Test system:

  • Dell XPS 15
  • Intel Core i7 2760QM
  • Kingston 8GB 1333Mz
  • Nvidia GT 540M 2GB
  • OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 120GB
  • JMicron SD/MMC card reader
  • Sandisk USB2.0 SDHC
  • Pretec P240 USB Multi-Card
  • Pretec 32GB SDHC 433x
Before we head onto the test results, we have used a laptop for this particular review, as it hosts the fastest card reader that we can lay our hands on, and so removes the bottle neck that we would otherwise find on any of our systems with a 3rd party reader.

Software used:

  • AIDA 64 Extreme Edition
