AIDA64 Extreme Edition is a streamlined Windows diagnostic and benchmarking software for home users. To see how the reader performs, we decided to match it up against a number of other readers that we have to use, utilising Pretec’s own SDHC card that we looked at not too long ago. When we look at the results, the difference between the USB2.0 and 3.0 readers is clear, as would be expected with the faster interface. The close match that we find here is against the JMicron internal reader, however we are happy to see that the P240 just pulls in front with an average read speed of 54.6MB/s and write of 41.8MB/s.
