Qpad 5K Pro Gaming Laser Mouse Review

Conclusion
It is very hard to sum up a conclusion for a device such as a mouse, as pretty much everything that had to be said, has already been said earlier on, but we will do our best.

There are a lot of various manufacturer’s on the market offering up products similar to this, with their own unique features to give a bit of a spin on the competitors but the Qpad 5K gaming mouse does have a certain feel about it that gives it some extra brownie points.

The mould of the mouse feels comfortable whilst still maintaining a smooth glide across the majority of surfaces. The functionality is also extremely successful with programmable buttons for the majority of the mouse. The only ones that are not programmable are the DPI buttons on top which is a fantastic feature given that we really saw some good results between the two settings.

We did find that although the mouse was very accurate and precise in our testing phase, personally I feel it is a bit too light compared to my trusted Logitech MX 1000 that I’ve been using since the beginning of time which has a weightier feel to it.

I also feel that price wise, there are better mice on the market including some offerings from the likes of Logitech with more features and better functionality, though don’t be put off, as the software with this mouse is very extensive and well thought out and I feel this mouse is a perfect upgrade from an older generation simple mouse, but I wouldn’t pay the price for it myself.

Pros:

  • Interchangeable DPI settings
  • Comfortable mould
  • Rubber material is perfect for precision
  • Perfect accuracy

Cons:

  • Too expensive
  • Not heavy enough
  • Quite wide

Ratings:

  • Design – 7
  • Features – 7
  • Performance – 8
  • Value – 6
  • Overall – 7
