How Much Does it Cost?

Flagship mechanical keyboard often means one thing, expensive. Unfortunately, the QPAD MK95 is no exception to that rule and commands a pretty hefty price tag. £178.59 is what it’ll take from your wallet, and I won’t beat around the bush, that’s a lot. Of course, it’s not any different from the flagship keyboards from Razer, Logitech, Corsair, etc. Of course, just because they have expensive keyboards too, it doesn’t make it feel any more affordable.

Overview

So, the QPAD MK95 commands a high price tag, I’ll admit. However, it goes a heck of a long way to justify it too. It has a stunning aluminium construction and just amazing build quality overall. I’m confident it can hold its own against the best quality keyboard from Cherry, Corsair or any other brand for that matter.

RGB

When it comes to RGB lighting technology, it is ticking all the right boxes there too. It’s not quite as bright as something from Razer, which I think are too bright. However, the colours are rich and deep and in my opinion, more than bright enough.

Added Value

QPAD has done a good job of giving us a nice range of options here. There’s a built-in volume control wheel, multimedia controls, a macro engine, laser engraved keys, full N key rollover, a detachable magnetic and padded wrist rest, braided cable, etc. It’s an expensive keyboard, but you get a lot for your money.

Should I Buy One?

You’re not buying ONE mechanical keyboard here, you’re buying TWO. Why choose between MX Blue and MX Red when you can have both at the flick of a switch. Rated at 60 million keystrokes, and using Q Switch optical technology, you really couldn’t ask for a finer keyboard than the MK95. It’s one of the coolest bits of tech I’ve ever seen here at eTeknix, and I can’t recommend it enough… despite the hefty price tag, I think it’s worth every penny of it.
