Raidmax has just revealed their latest chassis, the Alpha. The new chassis comes in an ATX mid-tower form factor, and features a rather bold looking perforated metal front panel. It comes nicely equipped with RGB lighting too, giving it a very unique looking finish thanks to the built-in LED strips, which can even be controlled by the included infrared remote control. The RGB lighting comes with plenty of customisation too, with 22 multicolour lighting modes.
Down the side, you’ll find a large (acrylic) side panel window, which is great for showing off your hardware and your fancy lighting. There’s room on the inside for a 330mm GPU, 160mm tall CPU cooler, and an ATX motherboard. In terms of storage, you’ll find room for a single 5.25″ drive on the front, three 3.5″ bays, and two 2.5″ bays, giving you plenty of storage options for a mid-tower build.
Cooling support is decent too, with 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm mounts in the front, two 140mm up top, and a 120mm in the rear.
No word on pricing or even the release date just yet, but it’s an interesting chassis and we looking forward to hearing more about it. How much do you think it will cost? Let us know in the comments section below!
