There are many high-end keyboards on the market, but there’s certainly always room for a few more. Roccat has created many of my favourite peripherals over the years, and that’s a trend I hope to see continue today. The AIMO 120 comes equipped with their own custom Titan mechanical switches, powerful AIMO lighting integration, a detachable wrist rest, and so much more. It’s certainly ticking all the right boxes to go up against other flagship keyboards from the likes of Corsair, Razer, Logitech and many more.
The new Titan switches are certainly interesting, offering a fast actuation point, and are equipped with slim caps for reduced weight and a tighter response. The keyboard supports onboard memory, allowing for macros and lighting profiles to be stored directly to it. Of course, it’s also packing Roccat exclusive features, such as Easy-Shift, Swarm and AIMO. This is the full-fat Vulcan 120, although a Vulcan 100 and Vulcan 80 are also available for those who don’t need the wrist rest and the full RGB lighting. However, all models share the same basic design and switches.

“The Vulcan is the first keyboard to feature ROCCAT-developed Titan Switches. The switches, designed from the ground up, were built for gamers craving a key stroke that was swift and precise while still being tactile. Show more + As well as a tactile and silent 1.8mm actuation point with a 3.6mm travel distance, the switches feature structural housing to reduce wobble while being pressed. They bring electrical contact bouncing to a minimum, allowing firmware to recognize input 20% faster. The key caps are also ultra-light – 50% lighter than standard – for that rapid response.
