Imagine a smartphone with all the boxes ticked. A smartphone with every single most wanted feature in one device. That’s what the Saygus V2 is supposed to be.
This “super smartphone” comes with a maximum of 320GB of storage (64GB onboard alongside 2 MicroSDXC slots), a 21-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel front facing camera, wireless charging, fingerprint scanner, Harman Kardon speakers and root access to the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. Alongside all of that, this beast has a 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon processor with 3GB RAM underneath a 5-inch, 1080p display.
It’s not necessarily a looker though, its design is pretty clunky-looking. Having said that as with many top spec PCs, buyers don’t always necessarily look for design – is this the mobile equivalent of a massive gaming rig?
One killer feature they haven’t announced at CES is the price – they’re currently keeping it quiet and only suggesting that it will be “competitive with other 5-inch devices”. That leaves a lot to be answered.
