Today we are looking at the Seagate FreeAgent Go 320GB Portable Drive.

This particlar drive comes with a 5 year warranty, is quiet and uses the USB 2.0 interface.

Its perfect for storing photos, music and videos.

    Cool review. shame its really slow though usb sucks 🙁 e-sata is the way to go or some kind of other faster interface.

    I noticed that most 2.5" hard drive enclosures do not use eSATA. If you want eSATA with a 2.5" hard drive enclosure, you will still need to feed it power somehow (power brick or USB cord). It sort of decreases the product's portability and ease of use, which I guess is the main reason why manufacturers haven't really pushed towards 2.5" HDD enclosure with eSATA support. Plus, I believe that most 2.5" hard drive enclosure end up being used in conjunction with a notebook, and it's rare to see a notebook with eSATA connectivity.

    Yea, I wihsh more manufacturers would use esata for the speed. Ended up picking up a similar drive for someone for Christmas.

    seagate all the way. regarding the space i would say it`s too small for me. let`s think about 1tb. but still i hate that part with extra power.

    slow though, usb, do they make a usb 3 model? though im not sure on how fast usb 3.0 is at transferring stuff/files etc…

    USB 3.0 is about 5.0 gbps… very fast. =]

    really? that is VERY quick but there isn't many devices about is there?
