SilverStone Sugo SG07 Mini-ITX Case Review

Results – Cooling
When testing the cooling on a case, we decided that the most vital components to test would be the CPU and GPU and that we would test the 2 components at idle and load temperatures.

To test the CPU temperature, we will leave the system running in an idle state for 15 minutes and then (once ambient room temperature is met and recorded) we will take the temperature of the CPU using various different software including SpeedFan.

We will then run Prime 95 on a blend test to stress every core of the CPU to it’s maximum capability and once that has been running for 15 minutes, we will check the ambient room temperature, and record the CPU temperature with various software including SpeedFan.

As you can see from the results, the idle temperature was quite low which is mainly down to the huge fan on top which we were running on its highest setting. Even at idle, the results were quite low and once again, we believe the huge top fan had a lot to do with this.

To test the GPU temperature, we will once again be leaving the system to run in an idle state for 15 minutes and then (once the ambient room temperature is met and recorded again) we will take the temperature of the GPU using various different software.

We will then run FurMark GPU test to stress the GPU to its fullest, and once that has been running for 15 minutes, we will check the ambient room temperature for the last time, and record the GPU temperature again, using various different software.

As you can see from the results, the temperatures were nothing out of the ordinary, and the ventilation from the 180mm fan didn’t aid the graphics card too much from what a normal case would.
