A recently leaked Sony press release has revealed the full specifications of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z1 Honami. The PR discloses the full details of the new handset and the specifications look impressive. At the heart of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with Adreno 330 graphics and four cores at 2.2GHz paired up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. A MicroSD card slot provides additional storage expansion up to 64GB. The camera provided on the rear is 20.7 MP featuring G Lens technology with a 1/2.3-inch 20.7MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor. The lens is a 27mm wide angle with F2.0 aperture and the BIONZ for mobile processing engine.
The display is 5 inches in size with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The handset ships with Android 4.2 out of the box and uses a 3000 mAh battery which is said to give 14 hours of talk time with 4G enabled, 15 hours with 3G enabled or up to 36 days when in standby.
The handset measures 144 x 74 x 8.5mm and weighs 170g with the battery included. Like the Xperia Z there is water resistance and dust resistance with IP55 and IP58 certifications. The case is a one piece aluminium frame with tempered front and back glass. There will be black, white and purple variants as detailed before.
