Conclusion
To say that the Super Flower Leadex Platinum 1000W is one of the best all-round power supplies I’ve ever tested would be an understatement. The Super Flower Leadex Platinum excels across the board in every aspect of performance and design. The efficiency is top-notch and so is the power factor correction, the voltage regulation is impeccable and the ripple suppression is pretty much as good as it gets short of using expensive digital regulation. The fan speed was also very impressive keeping the unit cool and quiet under typical use scenarios. Super Flower have also nailed the design and functionality by offering a fully modular design, innovative universal connectors and the whole unit just looks amazing: not to mention the white aesthetic is unique and very desirable. Finally, the pricing is just brilliant: 80 Plus Platinum 1000W power supplies from Enermax and Seasonic start at £200 and from Antec £170. So not only does it tick every box, have all the cool features but it is also cheaper and comes with a massive 5 year warranty.
