Super Mario Maker Running on a WiiU CEMU 1.3 Emulator

Even though graphics are important, when you play a game on a console such as the WiiU, you don’t really expect too much. Games such as Super Mario Maker, for example, run smoothly on the aforementioned console because they are not particularly demanding, but when it comes to playing these titles on a PC, things get a little bit complicated. This is where console emulators come in, as they allow PCs to run operating systems usually dedicated to consoles. Therefore, playing console games on the PC is also possible, but users usually require very powerful rigs in order to achieve decent frame rates.

We’ve recently heard about a very successful experiment that involved Super Mario Maker and the latest version of the WiiU emulator named CEMU. Version 1.3 is able to run the game at 30 fps, which is definitely playable as we are talking about Super Mario after all. Just in case you are curious, the user’s PC included an Intel i7 4790K clocked at 4.0 GHz as well as an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 graphics card. You can have a look at the video below if you want to see the game in action. Doesn’t look bad at all, if I’m honest.
