Thermaltake Commander C35 TG ARGB PC Case Review

Interior

The interior of the C35 TG is pretty neat and tidy. There’s a matte black finish throughout, matching the exterior. Behind the motherboard, you’ll find a CPU cooler mounting cut-out, and a few cable routing holes dotted around it in all the usual spots. A simple, but rather effective design.

Of course, there’s a huge PSU shroud running the length of the chassis. This keeps all the cables and some other hardware tucked out of sight, keeping things looking neat and tidy. There is a small cut-away towards the back though, so you can still show-off the side of the PSU here.

ARGB

Up in the front, you’ll find those lovely 200mm ARGB fans giving you a massive wall of airflow throughout the build. However, there’s room in here for 120/140mm fans if you wanted to swap them out. Of course, that extends to radiator support also. A small cut-away in the PSU shroud ensures your radiators can use the full height of the front panel.

In the back, there’s a good amount of space for a rear mounted AIO, and it’ll take a 120/140mm fan.

There’s not a vast amount of space in the top, but still room for fans and a few cables should you need them.

Behind the Motherboard

Around the back, there’s quite a lot going on. There are numerous HDD mounts hiding behind the motherboard tray, as well as large areas that will allow for easy cable routing options. Even then, the PSU shroud will gobble up most of the cables, making cable management super easy anyway.

There are two HDD/SSD mounts located towards the front of the chassis. Each are fitted with thumbscrews too, so they’re very easy to use.

There are also two 2.5″ drive mounts here, giving you four drive mounts in total, without factoring in space under the shroud.

RGB Connections

A small PCB is used to connect up all those lovely ARGB fans. It’s hooked up to the RGB button on the front panel too. Of course, you can pair that up to your motherboards ARGB header for full control/sync of other lighting hardware.
