Thermaltake Core P3 TG Pro Case Review

The Thermaltake Core P3 was and still is one of the coolest and more unique PC cases I’ve ever reviewed. I’ve seen a few versions of it over the years, but it’s a big hit for Thermaltake, so it’s great to see them revisit it regularly and keep it up to date for the ever-changing PC market. The Thermaltake Core P3 Pro is an upgraded version of the original, and while it’s mostly similar, they have made some important changes along the way. It still supports 420mm radiators, and a three 140mm fan install thanks to its removable bracket design. However, they’ve dropped the old USB 2.0 ports and added a more modern Type-C front panel. A small change means the M/B side vent is now recessed, improving hardware compatibility. The redesigned feet make it more stable when free-standing. A new GPU holder and additional fan bracket also make it a little more practical too. So it’s the same P3 you know and love, but just a little bit better overall.

Features

  • Open Frame – Core P3 Pro TG is an open frame case with exceptional viewing capabilities. The 4 mm thick front tempered glass panel guarantees the durability of the window and allows you to build with crisp clarity. Users can fully display every component of the system and show off their artistry and skill sets.
  • 3-Way Placement Layout – The Core P3 TG Pro is designed for use in three different orientations: wall-mounted, vertical, and horizontally placed. Built for customization that reflects the makers’ personality, the Core P3 TG Pro allows easy adjustments to the chassis for the best viewing presentation while ensuring outstanding cooling performance.
  • M/B Side Layout Redesigned – The redesigned recessed compartment on the motherboards right side makes it more convenient to install GPUs and allows more opportunities for high-end graphics card such as 4000 series. Users are able to place the high-end graphics cards and enjoy advanced cooling components at the same time.
  • Additional Fan Bracket – The Additional Fan Bracket can be placed at the front or on top of the chassis. Users may choose to install 120mm fan x 3 /140mm fan x 3 or a 360mm radiator / 420mm radiator or a distro plate with the Additional Fan Bracket. No matter if you are AIO or DIY enthusiast, you will find a place to install your cooling components easily.
  • Versatile GPU Orientation – Rotational PCI-E slots give you the option to display your graphics cards either horizontally or vertically, creating plenty of flexible space for your system.
  • GPU Holder Included – A GPU Holder gives extra support to graphics cards, users won’t need to worry about the sag caused by heavy graphics card.
  • Magnetic Dust Filter – There is a fine magnetic filter to provide excellent protection against dirt and it is easily removable for cleaning.
