How Much Does it Cost?

The price of this keyboard is a little bit all over the place. On Amazon it ranges from £139.83 + around £10 in shipping from Thermaltake international. However, the UK stock is £173.70 with Prime. In the US, it’s $149.99. Of course, the layout and configuration may differ there too, so it’s up to you to choose which variant is best suited to your needs.

Overview

It’s not cheap, but given it’s priced around the same as a Corsair, Razer or any other flagship keyboard, it’s also perfectly competitive. This isn’t a necessity for PC gaming, but a luxury item and the price does reflect that. However, you do get a massive amount of features for your money, more than you’ll find on rival products.

Features

Thermaltake really does like to go big on their products, and this is no exception. It’s big on features, big on RGB, big on price, and big in regards to its size. One thing I do love is the huge slab of aluminium on the top panel, it just looks fantastic. However, I do like the black one we reviewed, but I think the Titanium finish model looks even better still. They’ve integrated multimedia controls, shortcuts, profiles, lighting modes and much more, all on-the-fly controllable or through the downloadable software, which is great.

RGB

Short of the whole keyboard being made from an LED, you’ll struggle to find a keyboard with more lights than this. The edge lighting is by far my favourite feature though, and it really adds a lot of colour and customisation options to your desktop. However, while you can tweak the lights from the keyboard, you can also do it with TT Sync, Razer Chroma, and even Amazon Alexa, which is just mental. No one needs all that, but honestly, it it works, I’m happy to have it.

Should I Buy One?

Recommending a keyboard in this price range isn’t really sensible, but this isn’t a sensible keyboard, or is it? It’s fully mechanical with Cherry MX, so it’s great to work and game on. It has USB and audio pass-through, multimedia controls, macros and shortcuts, great ergonomics, fantastic build-quality, and comes from a well known brand. It’s got a lot of over-the-top lighting, but at its core, it’s amazingly practical and will go head-to-head with the best from Corsair, Razer, and anyone else. Plus, it just looks cool, that much alone is priceless.
