Thermaltake TGM-V32 32″ Quad HD 170Hz Monitor Review

Thermaltake is a new player in the monitor market. Still, with the likes of Gigabyte, MSI, Cooler Master and quite a few others playing in the display market, and Thermaltake being one of the biggest PC gaming brands around, it certainly seems like a natural evolution for their brand. Their new monitor focuses on PC gaming, so it ticks all the right boxes for most PC users. It features a 2560×1440 resolution on a large 32″ panel, with a 1000R curve (a very mild curve), and a fast 170Hz refresh rate with a 1ms response time (MPRT). If that’s not enough, you also get G-Sync and FreeSync support, HDR, and excellent colour reproduction right out of the box.

Of course, that is a good feature set, but it’s fair to say it’s on par with rival offerings too, a sort of sweet spot that gives you lots of gaming-friendly features without costing too much money. So, with that in mind, let’s just get on with the testing and see what it’s like to use in the real world.
