Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB 750w PSU Review

Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

In our overpower protection testing, the first piece of good news we can report is that this power supplies safety features successfully triggered to shut it down before wattage levels entered dangerous territory. So far, so good.

With this being rated to 750 watts, however, there is usually a little extra wiggle room and in terms of the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB, that ‘wiggle’ is just over 200 watts. More than enough to give you a nice solid margin to try not to play with!
