The Thermaltake View 51 TG ARGB Full-Tower Case is available right now from most major retailers. The MSRP is actually £209.90, but it’s actually on sale for just £179.92! You can find in the US for just $190.74. I know that’s not exactly cheap, but just based on the pure size of it and the added cost of raw materials, it’s fairly priced.
This kind of PC case is simply not for me, and that’s fine, Thermaltake make plenty of other options. I think it’s just too big and takes up to much room for my liking. Plus, I rarely bother with liquid cooling, and more favour air cooling builds myself. However, if you are a person who has a bit more room for your PC case than I do, then you may as well take advantage of that.
The added space inside this case offers a few nice benefits. It’s not fiddly, and routing all your cables, fitting all your components, it super easy. It may look like a big intimidating case, but it’s honestly very easy to work with and beginner-friendly.
What this case really offers is potential. If you want to build a modest rig, you can. If you want to build an extremely powerful rig, you can. There’s nothing holding you back here, and the biggest motherboards, expansion cards, and cooling hardware will fit without issue.
Modding and custom cooling configurations are a big focus too. All the main hardware of this case is removable, movable or adjustable in some way. With a basic tool kit, you can basically strip the whole thing down and rebuild it too, which is great for those paining, cutting, and doing other modifications.
The fans they’ve included with this case are awesome. Big airflow, low noise and lots of RGB goodness. Plus, the built-in PCB that controls their RGB means you don’t need to rely on your motherboard or additional software. You can pair it up with those things, but it’s not essential and I like that. The inclusion of USB C on the front panel, a locking hinged window panel, and large dust filters are all welcome additions too.
If you’re after a large tempered glass and RGB lit PC case, you really can’t go wrong with this. While it’s a little big for my taste, I can absolutely see the appeal of it. This isn’t a PC case for those who want to go quietly, but for those who want to make a big and bold statement. If that sounds like your kind of party, I highly recommend the View 51.
