Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme Liquid CPU Cooler Review

I must commend the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme because it doesn’t have any rattling or whining issues like the H100i did. Other than that the acoustic performance is more or less neck and neck with the H100i. The high 1200 RPM minimum fan speeds on the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme mean it is louder than almost every air cooler we tested because their RPM ranges tended to start at 500-800.

The Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme is reasonably competitive with overclocking. It could be better, if the fans were able to operate at 800RPM for example, but it is still workable and inside most cases it would be barely noticeable.
