Thortech Thunderbolt Plus 800W Power Supply Unit Review

The Thunderbolt Plus uses a similar graphic heavy packaging design as the standard Thunderbolt units, only significantly larger to accommodate the extras that the box conceals. I like the overall design of the box as it markets itself well to gamers with it’s glossy finish which is quite difficult to pull off- most graphic heavy packaging appear cheap and tacky whereas Thortech to a good job here.
The front of the box is covered in well designed graphics. It clearly indicates exactly what the unit is, and includes the main features of the PSU- exactly what is needed.
The rear of the box contains all of the information which normally leads to a cluttered design, however this has been very well organised into clear concise tables and only the necessary information has been included which means that the specs are easy to read.
The right hand side contains the main features of the unit highlighted with thumbnails, I think this is a really good way of laying out features as opposed to a list.
The left hand side contains the main features in a multilingual format, I feel that a picture of the unit itself would have been more useful here.
