Thrustmaster T-Wireless PS3 and PC Analogue Controller Review

So overall I’m rather happy with this controller, I was never going to review this as a direct replacement for the official PS3 controller, or in my case as a replacement for the Xbox 360 controller I use on the PC, but what it does offer is a straightforward, compact and low cost solution as a replacement or spare controller. With a price point of around £15 it does provide a quick solution if your controller breaks, working also as a handy second controller, or a cheap solution for a PC controller.

For me personally the best solution I have found for this controller is for my son, he’s only 5  years old and loves to play on the Playstation 3, with the cost of an official controller now around the £50 mark, I feel a lot more comfortable with him using this, with it’s lower price point making it less of a concern if he were to damage it and also its slightly smaller size fits his hands much better than mine.

The build quality is rather good too, it’s moulded out of really durable plastics, so it should survive a few knocks and bumps with ease and given its small size, it’s also perfect for chucking in the bottom of your bag should you need a compact controller for your laptop when traveling.

While this isn’t exactly a ground breaking controller, it’s not the most feature heavy device ever and it’s not even the best looking controller I’ve seen, fortunately it’s not the worst looking either, but given it’s fairly well built, cheap to purchase, works on both PC and PS3 with ease, is perfect as a spare controller for your self or for a child and that most controllers in this price range don’t feature wireless technology, I’m happy to award the Thrustmaster T-Wireless controller our Bang For Buck Award.
