Tom Clancy’s The Division Receives a New 60FPS PC Gameplay Trailer

I’m just as disappointed as everyone else that Tom Clancy’s The Division looks nothing like the official gameplay trailer that we’ve seen in 2014. However, after playing the Open Beta and tinkering with the settings a bit, I have to admit that The Division definitely doesn’t look bad, especially for a massively multiplayer online game. With max settings on a capable PC, the title boasts some impressive features, most of which were showcased by the developers in a brand new 60FPS PC gameplay trailer. The graphics features that I’m talking about are dynamic global illumination, volumetric fog, realistic reflections and weather particles, all of which form a nice display of eye candy when they are enabled.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8, and while some gamers have expressed their disappointment in the game already, some are actually looking forward to its release. The main concerns right now are related to enemy variety, a PVP system that discourages solo play and, of course, the graphics. The game could still turn out to be engaging and fun to play, but it’s probably safe to say that it won’t exactly be a masterpiece.
