VIOTEK GNV32DBE 165Hz WQHD Curved Gaming Monitor Review

A Closer Look

While this may be a cheaper monitor design, first impressions are certainly decent. It’s got a nice and large 32″ panel, so it’s certainly going to give you plenty to look at. However, it also comes with a very slim bezel on all four sides. Not only is this going to make the image feel larger, but it also looks smarter, and will benefit those using a multi-monitor configuration.

The screen is curved, but it’s quite a gentle curve and just enough to bring in the edges for a larger panel like this, but not so much it’ll make your spreadsheets look like they’re written on a rainbow-like bend. It’s a 1500R curve, and provides the screen with a 178 degree viewing angle too, so overall, it’s going to be pretty easy to live with.

The stand looks nice enough, with a twin-daggers style stand that is nice and slim but provides a good sturdy base for the display itself, which is obviously important.

The back of the monitor is nice enough too, with a couple of red highlights and some funky shapes cut into the plastic that give it a budget-edition Cyberpunk look, but overall, it’s pretty presentable if you have an open desk. I have my monitors up against a wall though, so the design isn’t too important to me.

The stand is VESA compatible, so if you did want to whip this one off, you can wall or arm mount the monitor on your own hardware, which is great. The built-in stand works well enough though, offering a bit of forward and backwards tilt, but lacks and rotation or height adjustment.

On the back, you’ll also find a pair of DisplayPort 1.2 ports, as well as a single HDMI 2.0 port.
