According to good sources, Sony are set to be hacked for the 3rd time, just to teach them a further lesson after the original first two planned attacks.
Cnet have reported that an observer of the Internet Relay Chat channel used by hackers that a third major attack is planned this weekend against Sony’s web site in the hope to publicise information from Sony’s servers including customer names, address and credit card details and claim that they already have access to some of Sony’s servers.
After the first two attacks, the FBI among other defence teams have started investigations into the sucessful hacks into Sony’s systems and users on the PSN network have been given very little information and very generic apologies.
Sony still believe that hacker group “Anonymous” are still to blame, yet the group deny all allegations against them saying that “our leadership does not condone credit card theft”, though Sony have filed in a letter that confirms a file was planted on the servers called “Anonymous” and includes the tagline “We are Legion”. Could this be one of the biggest frame acts of the hacking world?
