Power Supply Unit
The top of the PSU has a funky fan grille design with the XFX logo in the center.
On the base, you’ll find the specification sticker, which says we’ve got a whopping 70A on the +12V rail; this will be fantastic for multiple graphics card configurations.
The XFX sticker on the side, pretty standard stuff, but it looks nice and tidy.
Same again on the other side.
Around the back, you’ll find a split 24-pin connector, five 6-pin peripheral connectors, and six 8-pin CPU/PCI-E connectors. What’s also important here is the hybrid/normal fan mode switch. In normal mode, the fan operates all of the time, in hybrid, the fan will low in lower load and lower temperature scenarios for perfectly silent performance.
There’s a good amount of ventilation around the back, as well as the AC line-in and a master power switch.
Cabling
All of the peripheral cables are of a flat cable design, so cable routing should be nice and easy. There’s a good mixture of SATA and Molex, as well as a Molex to Floppy adapter should you need it.
With the exception of the 24-pin, all of the PCI-E/CPU cables are also flat cables, and it’s also nice to see that the cables and the connectors are all black, meaning they’ll blend into your system build much easier.
