Room with a View

Xigmatek is introducing their latest chassis called ‘Zest’ with support for E-ATX motherboards. The tempered-glass clad enclosure measures 525 x 230 x 500 mm. It also has plenty of room for liquid cooling component support, without sacrificing plenty of storage options.

As is common these days, the drive cages are fully removable. So users can just take them off if they prefer putting on a larger radiator and liquid cooling reservoir instead.

Both the left side panel and the front panel are made of tempered glass. Unlike other chassis however, Xigmatek opts for a clean invisible screw mounting design. Furthermore, the chassis has dynamically programmed multi-mode remote control RGB LED support

Aside from the motherboard support up to E-ATX sizes, the Zest features comprehensive cooling support. Both the top and front mounts supports 240, 280 and 360mm radiators. If users prefer to simply air-cool, they can also opt for either 3x 120mm, 3x140mm or 2x200mm fans on both locations.

In addition, three more 120mm fans can be installed above the PSU shroud and either a 120mm or 140mm can be installed at the rear for exhaust.

With the HDD cages in the way, maximum video card length can be up to 280mm. With the HDD cage removed, this can be up to 430mm long. Xigmatek also provides a built-in vertical GPU mounting support (minus the ribbon cable).

Even with the HDD cages removed at the top area, there is room for one underneath the PSU shroud. Users can also mount SSDs on the walls with the HDD cages removed, which won’t obstruct the video cards. Maximum storage support is for up to 8x 3.5/2.5″ combo HDD bays, or up to 5x 2.5″ drive bays with all HDD bays removed from the top compartment. The configuration is completely up to the user’s preference and needs.
