XPG Core Reactor 850 Gold Power Supply Review

Fan Speed

Although not provided with any ‘hybrid’ function (one that would limit or cease the fan operation in ‘low-output’ modes), the XPG Core Reactor’s fan runs at a fairly consistent 775-800 RPM regardless of the power output used in our testing. In terms of noise, this makes it barely noticeable, and, as such, if acoustic performance is something you really value in your PC build, this PSU certainly looks to be comfortably within that remit!
