XPG Valor Mesh Compact Mid-Tower Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, I couldn’t see stock for the XPG Valor Mesh and will update this information as soon as I have it. However, given the size of the case and XPG’s previous case pricing, I am expecting it to be somewhat affordable and competitive.

Overview

This case is pretty much what we’ve seen before from the wider market, it doesn’t really innovate or do anything overly daring, and that’s fine, as those things cost more money. What it is is a clean, stylish and compact mid-tower, and for fans of ADATA/XPG hardware, it’s certainly got some appeal to it. I really like the design, and given that it delivers on the two main parts of its name, I can’t help but give it top marks.

They said it was the Valor Mesh, and they certainly delivered there. The front panel is all mesh and offers a high-airflow intake for those three 120mm front fans, and there’s plenty more ventilation in the bottom, shroud, top and rear of the case, as well as a fourth 120mm fan in the back, so when it comes to airflow, the Valor Mesh has no problems.

They said it would be compact too, and again, top marks there, as it measures just 460 x 210 x 371 mm (18.10 x 8.28 x 14.60 inch). Now, that does mean you’re limited on GPU and sometimes CPU cooler choices too, but not everyone needs a huge PC case or the largest graphics cards either, so it’s nice to see something more accommodating to the mid-budget market.

Build quality is good throughout the case, with all the usual adornments such as 3mm tempered glass on the left side, removable dust filters where they’re needed, and good I/O with USB 3.2 Gen 1, and a combo headphone jack. I love that there are four pre-installed fans too, it makes life easy, but XPG do need to add their specifications to the product page too.

Should I Buy One?

If you’re looking for a compact, stylish and airflow-focused case for your next build, the XPG Valor Mesh Compact hits all the marks perfectly. Highly recommended!
