The heatsink is pretty standard which four u-shaped copper heat pipes that go into a dense aluminium heatsink array. Two of the heat pipes are placed on the outside while two are placed on the inside.
From the top you can see the uncapped ends of the four 6mm copper heat pipes as well as some CNPS10X branding.
The base uses four direct contact heat pipes and has some mounting hardware pre-fitted as standard.
The profile of the CNPS10X Optima is not linear and is shaped for optimal airflow with various notches and grooves in the design.
The base as mentioned already comes with some pre-fitted mounting hardware for easier bracket installation.
The provided fan uses notches on the blades to reduce air turbulence and noise.
Unfortunately the cable is not black or sleeved but the fan still looks pretty good and it does have a 4 pin PWM connector which is good to see.
