Zotac GTX 1660 Twin Fan 6GB Review

Overclocking

Now, given this is the smallest GTX 1660 we have in the office, with the smallest cooler. Plus, it’s the most affordable and has the lowest out of the box boost clock. So, why in the hell are we able to overclock the absolute nuts off of it? I’m not complaining, but 15-18% performance improvement is just staggering. The memory speed alone pushed up by around 500 MHz, giving us performance that can match that of a GTX 1070 Ti and GTX 1080. Very impressive indeed!

Peter Donnell

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
