The top is a plain silver aluminium surface with a contoured design and the Alpenfohn branding.

Spacing varies between the different aluminium fins and the design is alternate and offset.

The side profile shows that this unit is actually pretty thick at 123mm wide.

The base features a fully copper design and six 6mm heat pipes.

The base is really smooth and is actually quite large so would work quite well for larger CPUs like LGA 2011.

The included fan is a relatively plain black 500 to 1500RPM PWM fan. It seems like reasonably quality.

As you can see Alpenfohn have gone to effort of adding anti-vibration pads to the fan frame.
