Antec was teasing their Mercury series AIO coolers last month but they are finally available. These are a lot more sleek looking than their Bane-from-Batman-like Kuhler H20 and it even features RGB lighting. Not that Antec is forcing everyone to jump into the RGB LED bandwagon of course. They are offering their new AIO series with the option of standard (with only blue LED fans) and RGB LED.
Aside from providing optional RGB LED, Antec is offering their Mercury series in three different radiator sizes. These sizes are: 120mm, 240mm and 360mm. The inclusion of a 360mm is good news for those who want additional cooling capacity. More users are actually flocking to that size since more cases support it now.
All AIO units use a 120mm fan that uses a PWM connector with a fan speed range of 900 to 1800 RPM. At its maximum operating RPM, it produces 73.31CFM and 2.25mm-H2O of static pressure.
As with the majority of AIO units, the radiator uses aluminum material while the block is made of copper. Mixing metals is usually an issue on custom loops but with a specially formulated coolant inside, it can last for a while without performance degradation. In fact, Antec is confident that they are backing up each Mercury series AIO with a 5-year warranty.
That warranty length should be long enough to last several upgrade cycles.
