Now we’re talking! The ASUS card may be sat in second place for the synthetic tests, but it takes the top spot at all three resolutions here. Not by a huge marging, but a win is a win.
The performance did drop a few places here, far more than I expected it to actually. However, the ASUS card is still giving us an average of over 60 FPS at 4K in this (still) extremely demanding game. Plus, it’s still over 100 FPS at 1440p!
Ghost Recon continues to be a very demanding game to run for any GPU. The ASUS RTX 2080 Ti scored the top spot for 1080p, but only by 0.4 FPS average, and sat in a close second place at 1440p and 2160p. Again, there’s barely a frame between the top cards here, so I’m very happy with these results overall.
At 1080p, the flagship Aorus card and the ASUS card gave a near identical performance. Scoring a staggering 194 FPS is pretty fantastic, as is the 147 FPS at 1440p. However, the ASUS card pulled ahead at 4K, giving us a whopping 90 FPS. You could easily dial up the quality settings on this game and still get great results.
Even with the latest Battlefield game, the RTX 2080 Ti’s make light work of this stunning game. The ASUS card only the second fastest, but given it’s only 1 FPS behind Aorus at 4K, it’s hardly a deal breaker.
