BitFenix Enso Mesh Tempered Glass Aura Sync Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The BitFenix Enso Mesh is available now with an MSRP of £84.95 in the UK. However, at the time of writing, it was on sale for just £62.99, which is honestly an absolute bargain. In the US prices range from $79.90 to $89.00.

Overview

This isn’t the best chassis in the world, and it does have its flaws. In fact, let’s go through them. The cable routing holes are serviceable, but could be in better locations. There’s a reused panel that clearly came from a model that used 5.25″ bays. Furthermore, you can’t remove the HDD bays under the shroud, as they’re fitted with rivets. None of these things are deal breakers, but I’d like to see them improved in future models.

What Does it Do Right?

Quite a lot actually, so much so that I can overlook the minor flaws. The tempered glass window looks superb, and the foam padding on the edge seals it up tight to reduce noise getting out and dust getting in. There’s a slide-out filter on the side of the chassis for the PSU, which is super easy to access. There’s a magnetic mount for the front panel, so you can easily clean the filter, and the top mount has two magnetic covers to choose from. When it comes to big airflow and combating dust, it’s very well designed.

Even More!

Then you’ve got the PSU shroud, which hides all the cable gore out of sight. Furthermore, it hides the 3.5″ drives too. Even your SSDs are tucked out of the way, with three mounts behind the motherboard. RGB lovers aren’t left out either, with multi-zone lighting on the front panel, and an extra RGB fan in the rear too. Plus, there’s a non-RGB fan in the front, adding to the value for money.

Should I Buy One?

At the MSRP it seems a bit expensive, but it’s actually pretty competitive in today’s market. However, there seem to be loads of great deals kicking around for it from multiple stores. If you can get it at the cheaper price, it’s an absolute bargain and helps gloss over the minor flaws. The Enso Mesh is a great looking chassis, with superb airflow and RGB tech. If you’re after a compact, stylish, yet surprisingly capable mid-tower, it’s well worth checking out.
