Overclocking and Overclocked Performance


As we learnt from our experience with the R9 Fury X and R9 Fury, the Fiji core is restricted in terms of overclocking and the VRAM is locked completely to protect the still fresh HBM. Despite this, I managed to gain 66MHz.

 3DMark Fire Strike

As you can see with an overclock, the performance suffers terribly. A look through GPU-z sensors show us that it is a lack of power to the card, which is understandable considering the 175W TDP.
