CM Storm Sentinel Z3RO-G Gaming Mouse Review

There are hundreds of gaming mice on the market at the moment all competing by presenting different unique features, customisation and superior specifications. Today we are taking a look at a gaming mouse that offers many advanced features and customisation options, but the question is- does it actually perform?

CM Storm is a subsidiary of the highly respected PC power and cooling company Coolermaster and creates products aimed at gamers. They have produced some renowned gaming-orientated cases such as the Scout and the Sniper as well as various other accessories and products. However, much like many other companies in the same industry, CM Storm is producing peripherals designed for gamers.

Today I will be taking a look at CM Storm’s latest offering- the Sentinel Z3RO-G. Just like CM Storm’s other products the Z3RO-G is aimed at the gaming market, and showcases many of the company’s famous features. The Z3RO-G is kitted out with a 5600DPI duel laser sensor which is easily changeable on-the-fly for a quick switch between precision sniping to rushing within an instant. It also has a unique LED display on the top to give you information about your current settings and is highly customisable using the advanced software included. So are these features useful, or just a marketing gimmick?

Features:

  • 5600DPI Storm Tactical Twin-Laser Sensor
  • 128Kb Onboard Memory
  • Customisable LCD Display
  • 8 Programmable Buttons
  • Rapid Fire Tactical Mode
  • 1000Hz Polling/ 1ms Response Time
  • 1mm Lift Off distance
  • Right Handed Ergonomic Design
  • Gold Plated USB Connector with Braided Cable
  • 5x 4.5g Adjustable Weight System
