A Closer Look

The new monitor looks pretty much like any monitor really, it’s nice enough and a 16:9 black rectangle with a very slim bezel on three sides, and a larger, but still very small bezel on the bottom.

What’s really staggering is how well that new ART film is preventing reflections, I mean, you can likely tell by how bright the room is, but I have my overhead studio light on max, and it is absolutely blinding in here, but the ART screen is barely picking up a hint of it.

The panel is mounted on a removable stand, which allows a good range of height adjustment, and the stand itself isn’t too intrusive either, with a flat base that you could use to store your phone or wallet on top of.

The panel thickness is good too, so if you were to wall mount or stand mount this, it wouldn’t stick out too much from the wall at all. As you can see, the stand allows you to pivot the monitor quite significantly left or right.

There’s a good amount of tilt backwards too, so really, ergonomics is getting top marks here.

You can even spin the monitor into portrait mode, which I like for old arcade game emulation or using as a second monitor, but it’s also great for reading more of reddit without having to scroll as far.

The back of the monitor looks great too, with a VESA mount to hold the stand in place, but of course, you could mount you can mount your own stand, wall mount, or arm too.

The monitor features a built-in USB controller, audio line out, and headphone jack, as well as a pair of HDMI and a single DisplayPort connection.

Plus, the power supply is built in, so it just needs a single cable and no external power block.
