Display Analysis

Cooler Master rated this display with DCI-P3 90%, Adobe RGB 91%, sRGB 99%, and I’m happy to see it did better than that, with 100% of SRGB (that’s the easy one), 96% of DCI-P3, significantly above the 90% target, and while Adobe RGB was under by 5%, this can be increased by changing the colour mode of the monitor to the appropriate aRGB setting, as this test was done on the default out-of-the-box configuration.

That gamma is pretty much spot on, and while the monitor has multiple gamma settings, I see no reason to adjust them at all.

A good grey ramp result, with surprisingly little deviance throughout the RGB scale.

And while the monitor was rated at having a peak brightness of 370 nits, it far exceeded that with a measured peak of 451, while retaining consistent contrast ratios from 25% brightness and above.

The colour accuracy is very good too, typically under 5 Delta-E is good, and under 3 is ideal, but with an average closer to 1 Delta-E this monitor does extremely well, and it’s good enough that I felt there was no need to perform any further calibration on the monitor, it’s good to go right out of the box.
