Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless Headset Review

How Much Does it Cost?
The Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless is available now for just £89.99 in the UK and just $99.99 in the US. That is rather fantastic value for money, overall performance, build quality, and style you get for your money. Of course, you are paying a premium for a wireless model, but even then I think they are priced very competitively.
I can’t remember the last time I texted a Corsair headset and thought “Urgh, that was awful”, or even a “it’s good, but it could be better”. They’ve been pretty consistent for quite a few years now in delivering a product that delivers or exceeds the quality of the price tag, very much true today. As much as I love their flagship headset, I can’t see any reason why somebody would be disappointed with this “lower-end” model.
The overall sound quality is fantastic there’s plenty of punchy bass, loads of detail in the mid-range, crystal clear treble. It doesn’t sound like it has been given a big EQ, and it doesn’t sound particularly flat, but it’s riding a sweet spot of what I get objectively think sounds great all around.
Superb Build Quality
The build quality is as good as anyone could hope for in this price range, and the little details such as the colour matched trim and stitching really does help set it apart aesthetically. Being completely wireless gives you loads of freedom, and long enough battery life that you can easily game and work all day between charges.
Should I Buy Them?
While there may not be anything on this headset that is truly innovative, original, or even all that unique, it still manages to stand out from the crowd. It’s just a really well-made headset that delivers very competitive performance at a great price, and I see no issue with that. I do think it’s one of the best looking headsets Corsair produces though, and it’s by far my favourite in the HS-series so far. Highly recommended.
