Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Airflow Smart Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Mid-Tower Tempered-Glass PC Case launches today and will soon be available at all major retailers. It’ll be £87.99 here in the UK, and around $109.99 (ex tax) in the US, and 99 EUR in Europe. That’s a pretty damn good deal, given the lighting kit inside the case is half that price. You’re getting a brilliant quality tempered glass PC case for half the cost; that’s a tough deal to beat.

Overview

Corsair continues to amaze with its vast range of products. From peripherals to PSUs, it’s easy to see why they’re one of the biggest names in PC components. Their PC cases have a solid reputation for quality, style, and features. Fortunately for Corsair, their reputation is left protected after checking out the iCUE 220T RGB.

Style

Without a doubt, the iCUE 220T RGB is one of the coolest looking PC cases to roll through our office in a while. Not to say other cases haven’t also looked great, of course. However, the matte white and grey finish, the custom cut metal front panel cover, the PSU shroud, the crystal clear tempered glass, all compliment each other well. They do make a black model, which also looks nice. Although, I think the white model is in a class of its own.

Build Quality

The Corsair iCUE 220T RGB is very well made. The inner structure feels robust, and the panel fit is exceptional. Nothing rattles or feels loose, which is obviously a bonus. Plus, having dedicated SSD mounts, removable HDD bay, dust filters, and rubber grommets are all welcome bonuses. The inclusion of their premium fans, a fan hub, and the tempered glass certainly sweeten the deal. You can pay the same for similar from less “premium” brands. So getting all this for £100 from Corsair is a huge win.
