Corsair KATAR PRO XT Ultra-Light Gaming Mouse Review

Corsair KATAR PRO XT Ultra-Light Gaming Mouse Review

Corsair has one of the most complete ranges of gaming peripherals on the market today, and that’s especially true of their gaming mice. They have mice with a huge number of buttons, high-speed sensors and relatively big price tags, such as the Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite, which I use for playing Elder Scrolls Online. However, that’s complete overkill for your work-from-home routine and the occasional round of CS:GO, etc. and that’s where the new KATAR PRO XT Ultra-Light comes into play.

Corsair KATAR PRO XT

Ultra-light gaming mice are proving very popular these days, with every brand coming out with some stripped down and lightweight model to compete. However, while many of them have an exoskeleton design, Corsair has managed to get theirs down to just 73g while retaining a more traditional mouse design. It’s also one of the most affordable lightweight mice, but don’t think this is just a stripped-down office mouse. It still has a stunning PixArt 18,000 DPI optical sensor, Omron switches, and six fully programmable buttons.

  • Ultra-Light and Agile: Weighing just 73g, the KATAR PRO XT is great for hours of fast-paced FPS or MOBA gameplay.
  • Compact Symmetric Shape: Great for claw and fingertip grip styles.
  • 18,000 DPI Optical Sensor: A custom PixArt optical sensor customizable in 1 DPI steps offers the precision and high-accuracy tracking you need for victory.
  • Drag-Reducing Paracord Cable: Enables faster, tighter, and more precise mouse movements.
  • Durable Omron Switches: Built to last for years and guaranteed for 50 million clicks.
  • Six Fully Programmable Buttons: Create an in-game advantage with button remaps and custom macros.
  • Switch DPI on-the-fly: Switch between three preset DPI settings without having to interrupt your game.
  • Dynamic RGB Backlighting: Fully customizable lighting on the scroll wheel with your choice of colours and lighting effects.

What Corsair Had to Say

“Weighing just 73g, the KATAR PRO XT is light and agile for hours of fast-paced FPS or MOBA gameplay. The compact, symmetric shape makes it great for claw and fingertip grip styles. CORSAIR QUICKSTRIKE buttons use a spring-loaded design, delivering zero gap between the left and right click buttons and their switches, so your clicks, shots, and spells are faster than ever.” – Corsair
