Final Thoughts Crysis 2 is a game that constantly delivers changing scenarios to make you think on your feet, more so than most other shooters currently on the market. The games music score is blended perfectly with the atmosphere and really gets you in the right mood, helping push you through the tough moments you’ll encounter.
The cinematic cut scenes and scripted events throughout the game will continue to leave you in awe with their sheer amount of detail, their perfect timings and the unexpected changes to the environments.
Overall, Crytek lived up to expectations and created the game they were aiming for, with only minor criticisms that were quickly forgotten about, it followed in the footsteps of all other Crytek games. Crysis 2 will keep you wanting more right up to the very end of the game and that’s where the Multiplayer comes in, running around with 16 Super Soldiers controlled by other humans can be entertaining for hours and will keep you going long after the Single Player campaign has finished.
Crysis 2 is definitely a game to be considered if you’re looking for a new FPS to tide you over, or even if you’re new to the whole FPS style of games, this could be a good place to start. With it’s relatively easy controls you’ll enjoy it from start to finish and when you see the box sat on your shelf a few months later, you’ll hear that little voice inside telling you to play through it all over again.
